Conversation Partners - A weekly, 1-to-1 time between Americans and international students who want to improve their English. The partners can meet anywhere and talk about anything they choose. Cross-cultural friendship can begin this way. Contact Jeff Nelson at isiwa@comcast.net. 

Friendship Partners - A monthly time for internationals to meet with Americans--usually over a dinner in their home--and develop relationships that can last for a life time.  Weekly communication takes place between meetings. Contact Jeff Nelson at isiwa@comcast.net.

Professional Partners - Another way to develop friendships is through Americans mentoring international students who are preparing to enter the same profession. They meet each other on or off the job site. Contact Jeff Nelson at isiwa@comcast.net 

After Talk - a time to build international friendships and experience Christian community. After Talk usually takes place at a local church after one of the services.  The pastor's sermon is discussed over lunch in a non-threatening atmosphere. Talk Time - a weekly meeting where internationals can practice conversational English while making friends with Americans. Talk Times usually take place at churches, using a topical discussion format (e.g., see www.speechtree.com). Current Talk Time locations and contact information:
